§01 · Information Collected

This site is a static HTML/CSS site with no database, no login system, and no user tracking by default. The following limited information may be collected:

• Analytics data Basic, anonymized pageview data may be collected via a lightweight analytics service. No personal identifiers are tied to this data.
• Calendly data If you book a call via the Calendly link, whatever information you provide to Calendly is subject to their privacy policy, not mine.

§02 · How Information Is Used

Any information collected is used exclusively for:

• Understanding which content is most useful (anonymized analytics)
• Responding to direct inquiries sent via email

Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their marketing purposes. Full stop.

§03 · Cookies

This site uses minimal cookies only what's required for basic analytics (if enabled) and embedded third-party tools. No tracking cookies, no ad cookies, no spyware.

If you prefer to block all cookies, your browser privacy settings will work fine. This site doesn't require cookies to function.

§04 · Third-Party Services

Calendly

Booking a discovery call uses calendly.com/mikeljorgensen. Calendly's privacy policy governs any data you submit on their platform.

Google Fonts

This site loads fonts from Google Fonts. Google's privacy policy applies to the font request (which may include your IP address).

§05 · Data Retention & Deletion

Analytics data is retained in aggregate form only. To request deletion of any personal data: info@chessclubmedia.com

By using this site, you agree to the following terms:

• Content is informational. Blog posts, guides, and resources are for educational purposes. They don't constitute professional advice.
• No warranty. All content is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind.
• Limitation of liability. Mikel Jorgensen / Chess Club Media LLC shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use of this site or its content.
• External links. This site links to third-party services. I'm not responsible for their content, practices, or privacy policies.
• Consulting terms. Paid consulting engagements are governed by a separate service agreement signed by both parties.
